This is inspired by a smoothie I had in Bend, Oregon at Mother’s Juice Cafe. I could not stop thinking about it. I had to figure out a way to replicate it.
Makes 2 servings.
- 1 cup almond milk
- 3 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1/4 cup apple cider
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseed
- 1 banana
- 1 chopped apple
- ice
1. Blend first 6 ingredients until smooth.
2. Add chopped apple.
3. Add ice, I add about three small handfuls of ice.
4. Blend and enjoy.
