Slow Cooker Pork Carnitas Tacos

Ingredients:

1 Teaspoon Salt

1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

1 Teaspoon Cumin

1/2 Teaspoon Coriander 

1/2 Teaspoon Ground Mustard

1/4 Teaspoon Ground Chipotle 

1/8 Teaspoon Cinnamon

1 Sprig of Oregano

2 Pound Pork Shoulder

1 Tablespoon of Canola Oil

2 Teaspoons Chicken Better Than Bouillon

2 Cups of Water

Corn Tortillas

Sliced Avocado

Chopped Red Onion

Chopped Cilantro

Salsa

Creating:

-Mix together salt, garlic powder, cumin, coriander, ground mustard, ground chipotle, and cinnamon. Rub on all sides of pork shoulder. Rest on counter for 30 minutes.

-In the meantime, bring water to a boil and whisk in Better Than Bouillon. Add to crock pot, also add sprig of oregano.

-In a large fry pan, add oil and heat at medium high. Add pork shoulder and sear on all sides. Then add to crock pot.

-Cook for approximately 8 hours on low. Pork should fall apart. Drain extra liquid.

-Build your tacos using tortillas, avocado, red onion, cilantro and salsa.
